I came accrose an article titled: “Hunger spreads, stalks 1M children in Africa”
This is so heartbreaking! the amount of food that cannot meet the basic requirements to feed a single village in Africa is still very real! people just don’t realize the seriousness of this dilemma untile hundreds or thousands of children die… and by then it is not to late, but sad that we didn’t help, that we didn’t spread the word! and let everything get so out of hand… Surely everyone has the right to be able to have enough food and water just to survive?! I’m calling for justice, but i need your help to spread the word!
Each day is now a struggle for the women of this parched village in north Senegal to keep hungry children at bay, as they search desperately for food. Aliou’s mother can only recall one time in her life when it was worse — and that was more than 20 years ago.
“I start a fire, put a pot of water on it and tell the children I am in the middle of preparing something,” Maryam Sy, 37 and a mother of nine, says in a raspy voice. “In reality, I have nothing.”

The world would get along so much better if we all thought like dogs. If we took intense pleasure in a simple walk with a loved one. If when eating, we ate all our food without complaint, and even relished the taste of what we were given, no matter that we have had the same food over and over again. If we gave unconditional love to people, without caring about looks, age, height, disabilities. If, after someone hurt us, we forgave them, and didn’t loose faith in the whole of humanity. If, a little hug with someone we loved was enough to make us dance around in excitement.
